Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Our commitment

Tino LLC, doing business as Tino Digital Agency, is committed to making tino.design usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnification, and other assistive technologies. Accessibility is one of the services we provide to public agencies, so we hold our own website to the same standard we apply to client work.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, at three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA. tino.design is designed and built to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard adopted by the U.S. Department of Justice under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Our most recent review found the Site partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform, and those parts are listed under Known limitations below with the date we expect to fix them.

Measures we take

We take the following measures to keep tino.design accessible.

  • We include accessibility requirements in the design and development of every page before it is released.
  • We test each page with automated tools, including axe-core, before release, and we correct every reported violation.
  • We test the Site by hand with keyboard navigation alone and with screen readers, including VoiceOver on macOS and iOS and NVDA on Windows.
  • We check color contrast, text size, focus visibility, heading order, link text, and text alternatives for images whenever we publish new content.
  • We provide a reduced motion version of animated elements for visitors who turn on that setting in their operating system.
  • We review this statement and retest the full Site at least once a year, and after any redesign.

Compatibility

tino.design is designed to work with the current and previous major versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile devices, and with VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, and TalkBack. The Site relies on HTML, CSS, SVG, and JavaScript, and its content remains readable when JavaScript is turned off.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content on tino.design may not yet be fully accessible. The items below are known as of the date of this statement.

  • Some PDF documents published before 2026, such as earlier case studies and capability statements, are not tagged for screen readers. We are replacing them with accessible versions and expect to finish by March 31, 2027. If you need one of these documents in an accessible format before then, email us and we will provide it within five business days.
  • Third-party content embedded on the Site, including the Clutch review widget and social media players, is produced by other companies, and we cannot change how it works. We provide the same information in text on the Site wherever we can.
  • Blog posts published before 2026 may contain images without complete text alternatives. We are reviewing these posts and expect to finish by December 31, 2026.
